ABS-CBN Corporation is a leading Filipino media company based in Quezon City, Metro Manila, and the largest entertainment television and film production company in the Philippines.

Formed by the merger of Alto Broadcasting System (ABS) and Chronicle Broadcasting Network (CBN), ABS-CBN has become a well-known name in the country.

The company is a subsidiary of Lopez Holdings Corporation, owned by the López family.

It was previously known as ABS-CBN Broadcasting Corporation during two periods: from February 1, 1967 to September 23, 1972, and from September 14, 1986 to August 2007.

Colloquially referred to as “Ignacia”, named after its location on Mother Ignacia Street in Quezon City, the company’s operations hub.
